  • What's an SD card for: Store your pictures, programs, and data on an SD card. I recommend a 512MB SD card. I use different brands on my PDA and they are all fine.

  • Major Benefit: If you forgot to charge your battery, your internal battery will delete all your programs and will reset. It's a lot easier to reinstall everything when you have it on an SD card, especially when you are traveling.

  • Install SD card: Locate the SD slot on top of the PDA. If there is a plastic card there, just press on it slightly and it should pop out (do not use tools to pull it out!). Insert your SD card into the SD slot until it is completely inside. It can only fit in one direction, so there is no need to apply force.

  • Remove SD card: Close your applications if they are running on the SD card. Locate the SD slot on top of the PDA and just press on it slightly (to unlock the card) and it should pop out. Do not use any tools or force to remove an SD card.

  • To copy or move programs, data, or photos to your SD card follow these steps:

    1. First use MS ActiveSync to transfer your newly downloaded and installed programs, or family photos and data files using MS ActiveSync from your PC.
    2. All your synchronized files should be located in your PDA's My Documents (Start => File Explorer => My Documents). If File Explorer is not displayed on your menu when you tap Start, go to File => Settings => Menus => check File Explorer => ok.
    3. Tap and hold to select items to copy and select Copy from the drop down menu.
    4. Go to Show => My Device => Storage card, and select Paste from the drop-down menu.
