If you can’t get any email messages, tap [Accounts => Accounts => your email Acct. name], and make sure that you have entered all the info correctly. If you cannot tap your account name it means that you are still connected to the server. Go back to Messaging and click the Server icon (next to two-letters icon) to disconnect, and try again.

If you are only getting email messages but cannot send messages out, you will need to change your SMTP port. See the next section “Can’t send out email.”

If you have another email account from another provider, you can add it as a new account. For outgoing mail you can use what your provider suggests, or use the account settings that works for you (such as the one listed above). The Incoming and Outgoing settings are different anyway.
